Unit 11 enters the O’Reilly Outlaw Nationals
February 11th, 2007After attending the Friday night monster truck races with Driver 2.19 and Hillbilly, Will decided to enter Unit 11 in Saturday night’s Tough Truck Competition.
It began with a mid-day master cylinder swap and some fresh paint.
We loaded it on the trailer by 3:30pm and were on our way to the Travis County Expo Center to make the 4:00pm entry deadline.
Unit 11 was the only entry from Austin making Will an overwhelming crowd favorite.

March 25th, 2006I performed some necessary body modifications on the Jeep this morning.
Removal of fender skirts compete.
Front Bumper Caps removed. I also removed the washer bottle mounted in the front bumper.
Front tire profile shot after skirt removal.
Rear fender after skirt removal.
Rear bumper cap removal. Ready for Sawzall.
The first cut.
Front driver’s side complete. Ready for grinding.
Front passenger side complete. Grinding the edges prevents trips to the hospital.
No clearance issues now.
